Red Raider Community:
On Wednesday at 6:00pm we will have our regularly scheduled Coffee Chat, which will be virtual. The discussion this month is the potential football merger with Hoosic Valley CSD. I will be joined by Superintendent Apostol as a co-host. We welcome the Hoosic Valley community to join us! Mr. Mitchell will be leading a presentation that is a collaboration between MHS & HVHS principals, athletic administrators, and coaches. The sole purpose of this idea is to provide sustainability to the MHS football program and to revitalize the HV football program. Essentially, this is about opportunities for our student athletes to play football competitively at the Jr/Sr HS level. Below is information on how to join the meeting.
Both schools will be presenting this information at each school’s regularly scheduled Board of Education meetings on Thursday, January 6. It is the sole discretion of each district’s BOE to approve this proposal in order to proceed with the merger.
