Hello,
I am writing to thank you for your continued patience as we wait for New York State to disseminate COVID related guidance for the 2021-2022 school year. The State’s timeline for releasing this information is not clear. In response, a group of Local Health Department (LHD) Commissioners and Directors have been meeting to harmonize COVID-19 guidance, whenever possible, across the Capital Region. The attached letter, which has been or will be distributed by colleagues in some other counties, is one example of the LHD partnership and our commitment to you and the school community.
