In grades 7 & 8, all students are required to take English, mathematics, social studies, science and physical education. Students in grade seven are required to take health. In grades 7 & 8, students pursue studies in Spanish. Students also benefit from a language arts course designed to bolster writing skills. Among the exploratory offerings in grades 7 & 8 are art, family and consumer science, technology, and band or chorus.
