To the Parents and Students of the Mechanicville City School District:

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you back to your respective schools. I hope that everyone had a wonderful summer and feels relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. School Districts face many challenges and 2026-2027 will be no exception.

The Mechanicville City School District will continue to provide a rigorous academic program, a multitude of extra curricular activities and a safe and secure environment. I believe with the collaboration between the students, parents, teachers, staff and the Mechanicville Community we can provide an education that will give our students the opportunity to succeed in life.

The road to success does not happen overnight. It is a long journey. A journey that will present bumps, bruises and barriers. I believe that the Mechanicville School Community can overcome them and make us the best that we can be and even better than most. Parents, teachers, staff and the community working together as one, giving students the necessary skills to make Mechanicville the place to be.
