AHEADD: Achieving in Higher Education with Autism and Developmental Disabilties

AHEADD( Achieving in Higher Education with Autism and Developmental Disabilities) is a private, community organization that provides support for students in higher education with: Aspergers Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, High Functioning Autism, Learning Disabilities and Non Verbal Learning Disorders. AHEADD began as a way to bridge the gap between high school and college, specifically to address challenges in social, communication, and organizational skills, while helping students develop individualized strategies to manage their college careers independently.

AHEADD is an organization to help families know that there is support for their children beyond high school, whether it be through the college disabilities office and/or through AHEADD. Please check our website at for more information.

Project Prom Gown

The Saratoga Hospital Guild and volunteers at Treasures are very excited to continue the tradition established by the late Lillian Dawsey, and to offer absolutely gorgeous prom gowns to students in the area.  All of the gowns are beautiful and in fabulous condition.  Students and families who lack the funds to purchase a gown can stop in the Guidance Office to determine if they are eligible to receive a coupon  for a free gown at Treasures in Saratoga.
